Middle Kingdom Entertainment Corporation (MKE) is an entertainment company founded by Dick Wong, Raymond Chandler, and Michael Sulyma who collectively have decades of professional experience in producing and managing performing arts initiatives, film projects, and international tours. MKE’s partners have launched this new venture to present, represent, develop and produce high-quality entertainment for global markets. MKE specifically focuses on bringing Chinese live entertainment and performing arts to North American/world audiences, and vice versa.

A four-fold reality anchors our interest in China:

• China is the second-largest economy in the world; 
• the Chinese diaspora in North America is a significant cultural force within both Canada and the United States;
• the compelling symbolism of the 40th anniversary of the United States formalizing diplomatic relations with China, and the almost 50 years since Canada did the same;
• and finally, and most importantly, the richness and variety of Chinese cultural products combined with the sophistication and enthusiasm of China’s cultural and entertainment consumers.
